Songs get stuck in my head. Songs get stuck in your head too, but for some unknown reason, often the songs in my head are female power ballads. (yeah, really. I'm not sure why this is.) Often I find myself singing "Strong Enough" by Sheryl Crow. Great song, but not one a red blooded male should be singing. Then there is "Woman in Love" by Barbara Streisand. seriously people!
Maybe God puts these songs in my head for a laugh.
anyway, today I realized that there is something worse than female power ballads stuck in my head. That is Alvin and the Chipmunks stuck in my sons' heads. Sung chipmonk style.
I'm developing a twitch and its only 9:45am in the morning.
There is a cure for such an ailment that my old friend Eric M taught many of us. Sing "Copa Cabana" by Manilow and it magically erases the song stuck in your head without itself getting stuck. seriously, its a miracle remedy.
but my boys don't know "Copa Cabana" and I'm trying to steer them clear of Manilow. I'm too busy exposing them to Neil Diamond.....
