Cusses move in and politicians get weird!

A little political fun in the midst of an intense national campaign...

I have a working theory (not a theorem as it is hard to prove) that whenever a Cuss moves to a new town or city, the local politicians get a bit loopy.

Last year my sister and her husband moved from Malawi to Mt Isa, a remote mining town in north eastern Australia. The town is very much the epitomy of outback. Among other things, they have many more men than women. Apparently their Mayor has a strategy to balance that out.

In Sept 2005, Lisa and I moved to Broomfield Colorado -a beautiful city between Boulder and Denver, in sight of the amazing Rocky Mountains. We arrived right as the Mayor was seeking re election and one of her councilmen was running against her. His strategy to beat her was to accuse her of having an affair with him.


I offer you Mt Isa's Mayor calling ugly women to move into town and marry miners.

During Broomfield's 2005 Mayoral election, the sitting Mayor denied having an affair with the man running against her and used his ugliness as evidence..
